On May 1, UNC Faculty were joined by authors of NC DENR's recent fracking report and other experts to discuss the role that UNC can play in research to inform future decisions on the topic.

Dr. Jen Horney receives grant to study community resilience to natural disasters

With grants from the USDA and the NSF, Dr. Horney (UNC CPHP) will study rural and coastal resiliency to natural disasters in the southeastern United States. Other members of Horney's research team include Phil Berke and David Salvesen (CSCD), Mai Nguyen (DCRP), and John Cooper (MDC and IE BOV member).
